We have made many films for the Kings Place Music Foundation. Our documentary approach allows musicians to express the relationship with their music in a direct and personal way.
In 2008, we filmed 100 concerts over five days for a film about the opening festival at Kings Place. Since then, we have filmed many recitals at Kings Place, including Jean-Bernard Pommier's cycle of Beethoven Piano Sonatas. These were filmed on the remote controlled High Definition multi-camera system that we advised on and pioneered for this use at Kings Place.
Since then, we have used the system to film concerts in other venues, such as the Wigmore Hall, where lack of space makes the use of conventional cameras too intrusive.
